Support your local GP practice!

Get your flu jab at your GP surgery.

Funding from giving you a flu jab enables us to provide other services throughout the year.

We are happy to see any non-English speaking patients but ask that a 20 minute appointment is booked so we can use an NHS telephone translation service. Our local service is called BigWord.

If you have a relative or family friend who can translate for you then we are happy for them to attend, but occasionally personal questions may be asked which you may not want a relative or family freind to know.

These fact sheets have been written to explain the role of UK health services, the National Health Service (NHS), to newly-arrived individuals seeking asylum. They cover issues such as the role of GPs, their function as gatekeepers to the health services, how to register and how to access emergency services.

Special care has been taken to ensure that information is given in clear language, and the content and style has been tested with user groups. Open the leaflets in one of the following languages
