If you are experiencing knee pain due to osteoarthritis ('wear and tear') and you are on maximum painkiller therapy, you might benefit from having a steroid injection.
We recommend you speak to a GP and if they feel your knee pain could be due to wear and tear, they will arrange a Knee X-ray for you. If the x-ray confirms osteoarthritis, they might suggest a steroid injection as a treatment option.
The GP will refer you to Dr Chakrabarti for the steroid injection
At present, he does KNEE INJECTIONS ONLY.
A standard appointment is 20 minutes
If the injection is successful, you can have it every 4 months (3x per year)
Please wear a face covering for a booked appointment
Please read this patient information leaflet before booking an appointment with Dr Chakrabarti.
