If you need medical help in an emergency pls call NHS

Where possible, appointments will take place by telephone, video or other online service, unless there is a clinical need for you to come to the Practice.

For more advice please visit the Wells Road Facebook Page: @wellsroadsurgery

A standard appointment with a GP lasts 10 minutes, which gives enough time to cover up to two issues/ problems. If you feel you have more than two issues/problems to cover with the doctor, we would advise booking a double appointment (20 minutes). If the GP is unable to deal with your issues on that day, they may advise you book a further appointment.

Please ensure you arrive early for your appointment as any delay will impact on subsequent appointments for other patients.

Sometimes a GP will have to deal with an emergency and this may result in your appointment being delayed.

Our doctors typically see four patients in the practice in the time it takes to do a single home visit. For this reason we ask our patients to come to the practice if at all possible.
